While women comprise up to 70% of the coffee farm labor force globally, they historically own a tiny fraction of land and agricultural assets. The ELLA initiative was created to directly address this gap by providing market access, long-term sourcing partnerships, and direct investment for female coffee farm owners across Guatemala.

By sourcing directly from visionary farm owners like Ana Maria Ortega, Paty Perez, and Doña Sofia (Finca Armenia Lorena), the ELLA project highlights the leadership, resilience, and extraordinary quality generated by women-led farms. Every lot is meticulously curated to deliver both high specialty cup scores and a meaningful social impact at origin.
