The Origin Story

The Paz family has elevated Beneficio San Vicente into one of the world’s most esteemed sources of specialty coffee. Founded by Fidel Paz in the early 1980s, San Vicente built a strong foundation over two decades of dedicated work in Peña Blanca.

The real catalyst came through Arturo Paz, chief agronomist and cupper, whose world-class palate and deep expertise in coffee husbandry helped local smallholders refine their processing and farm management. Today, San Vicente’s coffees are universally celebrated for their extraordinary quality and consistency.
