Producer Story

Meaning “mutual assistance,” the Sholi Cooperative was established in 2008 in the Southern Province of Rwanda. It originated from a women’s association named Kundwa (meaning “love”). Today, women make up nearly half of the cooperative's membership and leadership. Certified Fair Trade, Organic, and Rainforest Alliance, Sholi invests heavily in community infrastructure and sustainable agricultural development.
