Short boilerplate
Indaba Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster and café group in Spokane, Washington. Founded in 2009 on West Broadway, Indaba roasts in-house and operates cafés on Broadway, Riverside Avenue, Summit Parkway and North Monroe Street, guided by four words: Love People, Love Coffee.
Long boilerplate
Indaba (in-DAH-bah) comes from the Zulu word for a gathering of community to listen and share. Founder Bobby Enslow opened the first Indaba Coffee on West Broadway in 2009 with a single espresso machine, two grinders and a commitment to radical hospitality — a public space where everyone is welcome. Indaba launched its own specialty roasting program in 2014 and has since grown to cafés downtown on Riverside Avenue, in Kendall Yards on Summit Parkway, and a flagship café and roasting facility on North Monroe Street, along with regional wholesale partnerships. Today Indaba continues to roast, brew and build community across Spokane, one cup at a time.
