The Heritage of Thiriku Factory
Registered as an independent cooperative society in 2000, Thiriku operates a single, highly focused wet mill (factory) nestled in the heart of Nyeri County at the foot of the Aberdare mountain range.
Benefiting from nutrient-rich volcanic soil, cool mountain nights, and altitudes pushing nearly 2,000 meters, Thiriku's smallholder farmers carefully hand-pick ripe cherries for centralized processing. Using classic Kenyan double-fermentation and raised bed drying techniques, this lot yields the signature tangy sweetness and vibrant floral notes that make Nyeri coffees world-famous.
